River Run Tours was created for people that are looking for something the “Scheduled Tour Boats” do not offer. My wife Marianne and I have visited many vacation destinations that offer boat tours that are like riding on a bus with a tour guide on a microphone. That is fine for some people but not for us. We would prefer to spend a little more for a more personalized and detailed service.
Maybe all you want to do is sit at anchor in a secluded cove at 6AM sipping on coffee and watching deer and wildlife in absolute silence. We do that!
I grew up on the water, and in 2000 at age 42 purchased my first Pontoon Boat and started exploring the Mid-Coast area in great detail with friends and fam
ily. Every time I found ruins, or remains of the past, I would search the history books to find out what it was and all about it. It became a passion, second only to my Family and my Primary Career as an Industrial Compressors & Pumps Salesperson for Trask-Decrow Machinery.
River Run Tours is a part time, non-scheduled, appointment-based service having affiliations with many other marine based services in Mid Coast Maine. We may not offer what you are looking for, but my promise to you is we will help you find it. We have connections to several Fishing Charters, Tuna Fishing, and many Fine and Unique Restaurants and Services.
