The Vessel

The “River Runner” is a brand new G3 Sun Catcher LX3-25C that is specially equipped for our services. It is a Modified Pontoon Boat, that has 3 U-Shaped 23”x 25” x 25’ Pontoons. These are each individually sealed airtight AND each pontoon is filled with closed cell flotation foam. This boat is registered to hold up to 16 persons and gear; however our USCG license is for a maximum of 6 paying customers at a time. This means there is plenty of room to move about and see the sights from all directions.

The boat is powered by a new highly efficient and environmentally friendly Yamaha 150HP 4-Cycle Engine which is super quiet and odorless. Although our normal underway speed is 10-14 knots, we have much extra power if needed with a top speed is 34 knots. For safety we are equipped with VHF & Weather radio, GPS locating, and a multi purpose depth finder. We are also equipped with all USCG required safety equipment for all O.U.P.V. commercial services.

The deck includes a Privacy Changing Enclosure with Head, Sink and Fresh water, plenty of comfortable seating, a sunbather’s deck, and CD and MP3 sound system.

Our deck is level with most dock systems and boat is wheelchair accessible, making boarding very easy for all physical abilities. We have separate Bimini Tops forward and aft that can be used when needed, stowed when not.

Those in Wheelchairs must be accompanied by an able and qualified assistant that will receive an adequate discount. Please discuss your special needs with the Captain prior to departure as it is ultimately his discretion, and his responsibility.
